Alright, we’re in a new calendar year and many have already set their goals for the year. You have prayed that this is the year you will meet the 1 God has for you. You are focused on your personal goals and career goals. You are ready to be loved and to give love. So, I have outlined 3 dating pitfalls to avoid in the New Year.
Here we are approaching the end of another calendar year and perhaps you find yourself in what seems like the same position as you were in last year this time so when it comes to relationships. You may either not be with anyone, not have any legitimate potentials or still recovering from a breakup. Wherever you find yourself, if you are not with the 1 God has for you it can get a bit frustrating.
When it comes to dating and relationships, there is no time for all the gray area. There is no time for all the what ifs and trying to figure out what the other person is thinking or feeling. If you have to guess how they really feel about you then the foundation of the relationship is not solid. At the end of the day, you need to pray and see if they are the 1 or not. Even in knowing they’re the 1, there is still work that must be done on both sides.
I saw a post on social media a few days ago that said, “People are not dating anymore. They just talk, catch feelings, have a great time for a while and then end up ignoring each other.” I paused for a moment and thought about it. Unfortunately, that happens a bit too often. Of course, there are some key factors that may contribute to that. So, I have outlined 3 dating habits to break TODAY!
Hear me clearly, stop allowing individuals who give a halfway commitment to keep wasting your time. Don’t allow them to waste your time if they don’t want a real relationship. Notice that I said REAL. Some are in relationships, but it isn’t real. I know it’s easier said than done, but there has to come a time where you stop going around in circles or being held hostage by someone who really doesn’t know what they want.
We always hear stories from others who were blessed, encouraged, inspired, challenged, etc. by Single For 1. We love highlighting Godly couples, and this is the story of The Evans! Enjoy!
