It is an undeniable fact that God has released more blessings from heaven than you have tangibly received. So, if God has released them and you don’t see it, it’s being held up in spiritual warfare. The enemy doesn’t want you to get married, and if you do get married, they don’t want you marrying the right 1. So, witches, warlocks and sorcerers send curses trying to stop you from getting married.

When relationships don’t quite go the way you planned or you’re getting to know someone and it doesn’t go in the direction you thought, it could be disappointing. At times you may begin to wonder if you’re doing something wrong or if maybe there are some things that need to be changed. However, it’s not that you’re doing something wrong. It could very well be that you’re doing the right thing.

Dear Duke,

I read the blog last week and it made me think about what I am currently facing and I was thinking maybe you could do a part 2 on just trust or not missing your blessing.

The gentleman I mentioned to you months ago and I are actually still talking. He has a lot of characteristics that are highly admirable and things I want in a man. Patient (annoyingly patient, LOL), kind, committed, honest, respectful, loves his family, unselfish, great listener, and LOVES kids! As we continue to learn more about each other, he is becoming more physically attractive as well; go figure, because I wouldn’t have believed that months ago.

We have heard people say that love will make you do the wrong thing. However, contrary to popular belief, that’s not true. Love doesn’t make you do anything to someone or for someone that’s wrong. Love doesn’t have that ability. God doesn’t have that ability, and God is love. Love is powerful. Love won’t make a person do the wrong thing, but love will make them do the right thing.

Dating can and should be fun when it’s not casual but with a purpose. Sometimes there can be a thin line between casual dating and dating with a purpose. You would think it wouldn’t be, but some people make it seem like it is purposeful even though they’re not all in. So, I have included 3 things to do to avoid someone wasting your time.

Tough decisions are tough for a reason. We have to make them throughout life. You can know the right thing to do, but it doesn’t always mean that the decision is easy. Some of you are in “situations” right now. It’s not a relationship, but simply a situation. For some of you it is a relationship, but it’s time to make some choices.

Breakups don’t ever feel good. Parting ways with someone you care about is not a good feeling. However, it is necessary on your journey towards the one. You must understand that just because you moved on doesn’t mean that all of you have moved on. The enemy knows how it works, so that’s why they try to secretly keep you in bondage in certain areas of your life without you knowing.

I have minimal dating success as a single black mother. My race isn’t the issue, or at least I don’t think so. I have tried meeting men online, as well in person. I work hard, and take care of my son with the help of my family.

The men I meet, however, are less than honest. They lie about being married, or living with someone. When confronted about it, they try to excuse it away. Many of the men that I meet are often looking for sex without real commitment.

As a woman that is trying to be celibate, this is very discouraging and frustrating.  It makes me think that I may never meet my other half, and that I may never get married.

I know that when it comes to dating and relationships and when you will get married, a lot of focus is placed on waiting on God. Most Christian relationship coaches spend a lot of time talking about waiting on God and preparing yourself while you wait. That’s good, but I’ve come to tell you that for the majority of you, it has less to do with you waiting on God and more to do with God waiting on you. I’m going to say something that may shock you! For most of you, God has already released your spouse but they are being held up by the devil. Not only that, but the enemy may actually be able to hold your spouse up legally that could have nothing to do directly with anything you did. The good news is that God has something wonderful that’s planned just for you when you get to the end of this blog post that will begin to propel you forward.

As you scroll through your social media feeds, it’s very common to see engagement photos, proposals and wedding pictures. It seems like so many people are getting married. Your friends, cousins, siblings and classmates all seem to be getting married. Naturally, you’re happy for them b/c you are in love with love. However, why does it seem like so many are meeting that special 1 and you haven’t yet?
