Most of us have had a heartbreak or 2 or 3 along this journey. Things happen along the way that is obviously out of your immediate control. Some relationships didn’t go according to plan. Perhaps you left hurt and disappointed. Perhaps you left upset and are just tired of dealing with this process.
You may or may not feel like you’re ready for what all comes with a relationship, but you’re definitely ready for love. God’s love in your heart will lead the way. I didn’t say your emotions will lead the way. That can get you in trouble. I said God’s love in your heart will lead the way.
I know you don’t like the waiting game. You felt like you’ve waited forever for the 1. The good news is that they’re not far away. How far away you ask? The 1 is not far away b/c the 1 is already connected to you in spirit b/c God has ordained for you two to be together!
Love is not hard to find! It is very easy for someone to fall in love with you! Some of you have gotten frustrated b/c you haven’t met the 1 yet! Not only have you not met the 1, but you haven’t met any good potentials. The good news is that it doesn’t matter. You will meet the right 1, and it will be easy for the right 1 to fall in love with you b/c they’ve waited for you all their life!
Here we are 1 day away from another new calendar year. Perhaps you have waited to connect with your best love ever and it didn’t happen. I know that for many of you, the past 364 days have not been the best. You have seen some better days. Granted, all was not bad. However, I know that the warfare was at an all time high in the body of Christ b/c of what we’re coming into.
It may feel like you’ve been waiting forever to truly be loved by someone you want to be loved by. You have waited patiently and perhaps sometimes not so patiently. Of course, some of it has nothing to do with waiting on God, but quite often it’s the enemy who has been blocking what God released.
Your heart has been waiting for the day to receive the love from the 1. You have been waiting to give your love to the one. Perhaps you had some close calls, but it didn’t quite get to the place you had hope or expected. You should want love b/c God is love.
You don’t want love from just anyone, but you want love from the 1 that God has for you. You should not feel bad for wanting. God expects you to ask Him for what you want. He said, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). In other words, make God your happy place and He will give you the desires of your heart.
For too long, some of you have been made to feel guilty for talking about what you actually want in a mate not what you need. What you need is already covered, but you should be telling God what you want. When being in a relationship with God is your happy place, your wants being fulfilled becomes easy b/c you are so in tune with His will for your life.
So, you should want to be loved by the right one. You should expect to be treated a certain way. You should want certain things, and you should be unapologetic about it. Too many people have settled because a couple of needs were met, but God wants you to have what you want and need!
Don’t feel bad another day in your life for your wants. Ask God for more. You want more, ask for more. Don’t be ashamed to ask. Don’t be ashamed of your wants b/c God wants to fulfill them.
You deserve to be loved unconditionally. You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally. Anything less is not of God! Don’t listen to the noise in the crowd. You don’t need to compromise. You don’t need to scale back on your wants. God is a God who supplies your needs and gives you your wants!
So start back asking! Love is not just on the way, but love is here. Love is already in your heart, and more is coming to overtake you. The right 1 will shower you with levels of love you didn’t know you could experience! It’s the truth, so you should start believing it.
God is waiting for you to ask and ask in faith! Ask bigger than what you’ve asked. Perhaps you have said that you really don’t ask God for much, but you just want Him to do this or that. Well, let me tell you this, you need to start asking Him for more b/c saying you don’t ask Him for much isn’t as great as it sounds.
He wants you to ask. He expects you to ask. Scripture even says, “We have not because we ask not” (James 4:2). So, ask and ask big. You deserve love because Christ died and rose so you could have it all. Love does come easy when it’s real love b/c real love is from God.
In the meantime, stop watering down. Stop shrinking back. Stop being cute about your wants, and stop allowing others make you feel bad for wants. You deserve love, and I’m glad that it will find you in the right 1 for you!

We have heard it said that love makes you do some crazy things. Love is very powerful and it will have you doing things that perhaps you didn’t think you would do. It also has the ability to take you places you’ve never been. However, love doesn’t make you do crazy things.
Most of you can relate to falling in love and the relationship not working out. You may have given your love to someone who in the long run, you realized how bad of an idea it was. For some of you, you fell in love with someone who had actually earned it, but it was devastating to find out they weren’t the 1 and it feels like love hurts.
You may still wonder when things will change with your love life. You may still be wondering when you will meet the 1 God has. Your love life is important for many reasons. It is something that you should care about a great deal.
Love is beautiful, and falling in love is something I believe everyone should experience in life. However, you must keep your eyes open and determine if you’re falling in love with the person or the potential in that person.
