Love on the desktop

Love is so beautiful, but it doesn’t seem as beautiful when you look around and it appears that everyone else is experiencing it except you. It doesn’t take away from the true beauty and power of love! Love will need no introduction in your life b/c it will show up and sweep you off of your feet!

You Are A Love Magnet!

love 3

Today, I’m reposting a blog from the blog archives. It has often been said that love is a universal language. On the surface that is true, but what everyone calls love is not really love. That’s another story for another day. What is certain is that if you love God and yourself, you have no other option but to be a love magnet.

You look all around and you see people in love. You see wedding after wedding. Smiles on top of smiles. You see tears of joy coming down someone’s face because they have finally met the 1. It’s always a great time to be in love.

Me and Donna 4

Here is another excerpt from the electronic journal I kept of our journey. Next week will be the final installment of this series. This has been a small teaser b/c it’s packed with so much more, but you’ll just have to wait for the book to see it all 🙂  I’ve received many messages of how it has been a blessing to many. Thank you all for reading. Glory to God!

Day 45: 12/18/14

Donna, when I look in your eyes I can see our future. I can see all the wonderful things we will accomplish together. I can see all the love you have for me. I can see all the wonderful things I will do for you. It matters that you are in my life, and this chapter and moving forward will by far be the best chapters of our lives. I’m so excited, and it takes a lot to get me excited.

The Best Love You’ve Ever Had Is Coming

August 20, 2015 at 9:00 am

love is coming soon

Am I talking about a dream? No, I’m talking about what will become your reality. The best love you’ve ever had is coming and there’s nothing you can do about it unless you choose to reject it. Of course you wouldn’t do that.

You Will Get Married Regardless of What It Looks Like

getting married

There’s nothing wrong with wondering “when will I get married. That’s a fair question to ask as long as it doesn’t consume your life or keep you from actually enjoying life. The bottom line is that if God said you will get married, you will. If you don’t know if He said it, if He put the desire in your heart, you will. Yes, you will also have demons doing everything in their power to fight against you to try to prevent it from happening.

If I’m Not Your Top Priority, Leave Me Alone

You should be the top priority in a relationship, period! I say it often that relationships were never supposed to be complicated, but sometimes people complicate things. Love in itself has many layers and can go deeper than you can imagine, but there is nothing complicated about a relationship. Things become complicated when both individuals aren’t on the same page.

Love Won’t Make You Go Crazy

I love you 4

We have heard it said that love makes you do some crazy things. Love is very powerful and it will have you doing things that perhaps you didn’t think you would do. It also has the ability to take you places you’ve never been. However, love doesn’t make you do crazy things.

Are You Into Me Like I’m Into You?

July 16, 2015 at 9:00 am

maybe

Dating and relationships can take you on a real life adventure. There may come that point when you begin to wonder if they’re into you like you’re into them. You may wonder if they’re all in or partially in. However, the guesswork is unnecessary.

Stop Asking Me When I’m Getting Married

July 9, 2015 at 9:00 am

heart question mark

The golden question that many experiences as a single is, “When are you getting married?” If they don’t ask that then it’s, “Why aren’t you married yet?” I experience it as well. My response has been, “When the Lord is ready, I’m ready.” For some of you, you may be thinking, if I knew the answer to that, I would tell you. It can be even more frustrating when a guy uses it as some type of pickup line. I know it’s lame!

When It Feels Like Love Hurts

heart with bandaid

Most of you can relate to falling in love and the relationship not working out. You may have given your love to someone who in the long run, you realized how bad of an idea it was. For some of you, you fell in love with someone who had actually earned it, but it was devastating to find out they weren’t the 1 and it feels like love hurts.
