You Are A Love Magnet!

love 3

Today, I’m reposting a blog from the blog archives. It has often been said that love is a universal language. On the surface that is true, but what everyone calls love is not really love. That’s another story for another day. What is certain is that if you love God and yourself, you have no other option but to be a love magnet.

You look all around and you see people in love. You see wedding after wedding. Smiles on top of smiles. You see tears of joy coming down someone’s face because they have finally met the 1. It’s always a great time to be in love.

My Heart Can Only Make Room For 1

heart and key

Letting go and moving on sometimes feels like the hardest thing in the world to do. I know how it is when you try to move on but still have someone in your heart that you honestly love. For whatever reasons as to why the relationship didn’t work out doesn’t mean you may not still have love in your heart for them. If your heart is still with someone else, it will be that much harder to give your heart to anyone else! God will heal your heart!

You Will Get Married Regardless of What It Looks Like

getting married

There’s nothing wrong with wondering “when will I get married. That’s a fair question to ask as long as it doesn’t consume your life or keep you from actually enjoying life. The bottom line is that if God said you will get married, you will. If you don’t know if He said it, if He put the desire in your heart, you will. Yes, you will also have demons doing everything in their power to fight against you to try to prevent it from happening.

Love Won’t Make You Go Crazy

I love you 4

We have heard it said that love makes you do some crazy things. Love is very powerful and it will have you doing things that perhaps you didn’t think you would do. It also has the ability to take you places you’ve never been. However, love doesn’t make you do crazy things.

Stop Asking Me When I’m Getting Married

heart question mark

The golden question that many experiences as a single is, “When are you getting married?” If they don’t ask that then it’s, “Why aren’t you married yet?” I experience it as well. My response has been, “When the Lord is ready, I’m ready.” For some of you, you may be thinking, if I knew the answer to that, I would tell you. It can be even more frustrating when a guy uses it as some type of pickup line. I know it’s lame!

Your Love Is Worth More Than You Think

love 6

There are many definitions of love circulating through society. There are different opinions on what true love looks like, but you don’t have to look very far to find the true definition of love. The bible simply says that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). So, that settles the argument on love. If God is love, that’s how valuable your love is when God’s love dwells in your heart.

When It Feels Like Love Hurts

heart with bandaid

Most of you can relate to falling in love and the relationship not working out. You may have given your love to someone who in the long run, you realized how bad of an idea it was. For some of you, you fell in love with someone who had actually earned it, but it was devastating to find out they weren’t the 1 and it feels like love hurts.

You’re Single For All The Right Reasons

I'm Single

I often reiterate that being single is not a curse. It’s not a disease. You have assignments to complete as a single individual, just as you will have assignments when married. You are single for 1 of 2 reasons, either God hasn’t released them yet or God has released them and demons are holding them up.

Don’t Give Up On Getting Married

Don't give up

You may have gone through some tough times when it came to relationships or the lack thereof from your perspective. Whatever you do, don’t give up on getting married! The more bad candidates you have or the more no one seems to show up at all, it might make you want to give up on the possibility of you getting married. The more time goes by, the more you might be tempted to think it won’t happen.
